Professional Experience
Member of the Portuguese Bar Association since October 1997, practicing the Attorney activity since that same date.
From 1997 to the present date: Lawyer and founding partner of João Carlos Silva & Associados - Sociedade de Advogados, R.L., established in the year 2000.
Participation in the Seminar on "Balance Sheet Interpretation and Company Valuation", organized by the Portuguese Bar Association, in collaboration with SEG -SERVICES OF ECONOMY AND MANAGEMENT.
President of the Jurisdictional Council of the Portuguese Surf Federation and Member of the Council of Justice of the Portuguese Volleyball Federation.
Participation as a speaker in the 1st Sports Law Conference, Espinho 2010, which took place on May 28th and 29th, with the theme "From the Associative Movement to Municipal Sports".
He has collaborated intensely with several public and private entities, in the coordination of litigation processes and the issuance of legal opinions, especially in the area of civil liability and claims management and the standardization of procedural practices associated with inherent litigation.
He has provided legal technical support to several insurance companies within the reformulation of its claims analysis and management practices.
Currently holds the following positions:
- Expert of the Portuguese Football Federation, referred to in Article 14, No. 5 of the Regulations of the Statute, Registration and Transfer of Players;
- Member of the corporate bodies of several commercial companies.
